                            In our tradition, we offer return gift to our relatives and friend who attended the wedding.  It’s not only tradition, but there is a science behind it.  Our ancestors gave a bag of Beetle leaves, Nuts and Coconut as return gift.  The beetle leaves/Nuts help in digestion and Coconut helps to drive away the tiredness of travelling. Nowadays saplings are given as return gift for many of the functions like Marriages, Birthday parties, House warming ceremonies and many others.  As per requests from our friends “Aadhiyagai” started sharing the native seed bags as return gift for the past one year. Our aim is to initiate people to start kitchen garden and to keep our native seeds in rotation.  By this our native seeds reaches many hands.  Not only farmers, It’s all our duty to save our indigenous seeds. கல்லூரி காலத்தில் விமானவியலை கற்க விரும்பியதில்லை.. மொழி ஒரு பெரிய தடையாக கருதி விலகி வந்து எளிமையான விசயங்களை தேடி அலைந்து கிடைத்த பொக்கிசமாக விவசாயத்தை கருதி ஏற்றுக்கொண்டேன்.. முகநூல் தான் அதற்கு ஆதாரமாக விளங்கியது.. மண்ணும் விதையும் சமுதாயமும் கற்றுக்கொடுக்கின்றது.. விமானவியலில் பட்டம் பெறவில்லை.. வாழ்வில் பட்டம் போன்று பறக்க விரும்புகிறேன்..   The young generation needs to turn towards agriculture. We need to practice agriculture for our livelihoods regardless of the  educational qualification that we hold. We have to stop the agricultural debts that previous generations have accumulated.  Let us start the changes from our side for our forthcoming generations. We are no more going to be dependent on others for our food. The younger generation has already started loving natural way of living. It may not be easy to change one’s ways but one must try.
